I would very much like to move my home base over to dreamwidth, but I'm not sure what the best method of doing that is for my content archives. Keep them on AO3 and Pixiv, and just post new ones here as I go? Or set up one large post with past works here, and then make individual posts for new content as I go?

For written works, I believe most people here either just link to them on AO3 or else crosspost, so you can do that going forward. I can't speak for images. For my non-AO3 works (meta etc), I made a separate post for each and backdated it to the date I had originally posted it on tumblr. Of course, I only had a handful of things to post, so it wasn't a huge job.

Thank you for your thoughts! Linking to AO3 does sound like the best option here for written works. I do have a ton of artworks, but I don't want to post them all individually with separate posts each, and even the thought of posting them all in one long post that's tagged with everything conceivable is kind of daunting. I might just keep the link to the content archives (at AO3 and Pixiv) I have up at the top in a sticky and only post new ones from here on out, or ones I just really like and want to repost.

Also, nice to see you around here. I'm glad some people are drifting back to Dreamwidth.

Sounds like a good plan to me! And yeah, I'm thinking it'll be nicer to hang out around here than what I've been doing lately, poking around on twitter. Plenty of nice art there, but not as much nice conversation.

Oh God. Twitter is a special kind of hell. Maybe it's the people, maybe it's the platform, maybe it's that you can't avoid things, I don't know, but it seems worse than I remember even tumblr being.
